Day 1 Arrival in Beijing (no meal)
Arrive at Beijing. Our guide will meet you at the airport & transfer to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Accommodation: Beijing Tiantan Hotel or same class (4*, 3 nights)

Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit the Temple of Heaven, which was included in the World Heritage List in 1998 and it is a well-preserved Altars building complex in China, you may also see the local retirees to do the morning exercise in the park. In the afternoon, go cross Tiananmen Square first. It is arguably claimed as the largest public square in the world. Then enter the Forbidden City. This large palace building was built between 1406 and 1420, and it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Peking duck dinner at night.
Note: The Forbidden City is closed on Monday, and has a daily visitor limit. We might have to adjust the visit time based on the result of the reservation.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)
Excursion to the Great Wall today. The Great Wall is one of the great wonders in the world and the symbol of China, the section built on the sheer mountain was used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital in Ming Dynasty. After lunch, drive back to the city, explore the Summer Palace, which was the summer resort for the Qing dynasty's royal family with the longest ancient corridor in the world.

Day 4 Beijing – Xian (B) by bullet train (4.5-5.5 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to take a bullet train to Xian. Upon the arrival, transfer to visit the old City Wall, which is the best-kept ancient city wall in China. You can either take a walk or rent a bike to ride on the wall.

Day 5 Xian (B, L)
After breakfast in hotel, you will drive out of downtown to the west of Xian to visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It was discovered on March of 1974, buried 1.5 km to the east of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum mound. Awarded as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, it is known as the eighth wonder of the world and a museum to display terra-cotta warriors and horses in Qin Dynasty. In the afternoon, transfer to the old Muslim quarter, and visit Great Mosque.

Day 6 Xian – Luoyang (B, L) by bullet train (1.5 hrs)
After breakfast, transfer to take a bullet train to Luoyang. After lunch, transfer to visit the World UNESCO Heritage site – Longmen Grottoes, which contain the largest and most impressive collection of Chinese stone carving art in the late Northern Wei and Tang Dynasties (316- 907). Drive to see the old quarter of Luoyang city.

Day 7 Luoyang – Dengfeng –Zhengzhou - Shanghai (B, L) by bus and bullet train
In the morning, drive to one birth place of Chinese Kung Fu – Shaolin Temple, explore the Pagoda Forest. You may have a chance to see the students drilling on the playground of Martial Arts School. After a quick lunch, drive to Zhengzhou to board a bullet train to Shanghai (4 hrs).

Day 8 Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit Yu Garden and the adjacent market. Have a stroll at the Bund to enjoy the great view on both sides of Huangpu River, as well as Nanjing Road, which is a famous pedestrian street in China for shopping. Later, drive back to the city and have a leisurely walk at Fuxing Park at the former French Concession, and enjoy the unique vibe of old Shanghai and see the current life of locals.

Day 9 Shanghai (B, L)
Drive to Zhujiajiao, a small tranquil town near Shanghai city, it is a great place to witness the traditional Chinese life today. In the centuries past, it used to be a trading area thanks to the cobwebby canals. Free afternoon.

Day 10 Shanghai departure (B)
Hotel checkout time at 12 pm. Free time until private transfer to the airport and fly home.
