Destination: Beijing, Xian, Guilin, Yangshuo, Shanghai

Day 1 Arrival in Beijing (no meal)
Arrive at the airport of Beijing, you will be picked up at the airport & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Accommodation: Beijing Tiantan Hotel or same class (4*, 3 nights)

Day 2 Beijing (B, L, D)
After breakfast at hotel, transfer to visit the Temple of Heaven, which was included in the World Heritage List in 1998 and it is a well-preserved Altars building complex in China. In the afternoon, go cross Tiananmen Square first. It is arguably claimed as the largest public square in the world. Then enter the Forbidden City. This large palace building was built between 1406 and 1420, and it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Peking duck dinner at night.

Note: The Forbidden City is closed on Monday, and has a daily visitor limit. We might have to adjust the visit time based on the result of the reservation.

Day 3 Beijing (B, L)
Excursion to the Great Wall at Juyongguan Pass today. The Great Wall is one of the great wonders in the world and the symbol of China, the section built on the sheer mountain was used to serve as the northern barrier defending the capital in Ming Dynasty. After lunch, drive back to the city, explore the Summer Palace, which was the summer resort for the Qing dynasty's royal family with the longest ancient corridor in the world.

Day 4 Beijing – Xian (B, L) by bullet train
In the morning, visit Yonghe Lama Temple, it is the largest monastery of Tibetan Buddhism in Beijing, where used to be the mansion of Prince Yong, and later he became the Emperor of Yongzheng of Qing Dynasty (1616-1912). Then the mansion was converted into a Buddhist Temple in charge of Tibetan Buddhism affairs across the country. Later, transfer to board a bullet train to Xian. After arrival, private transfer to the hotel in Xian.

Day 5 Xian (B, L)
After breakfast in hotel, you will drive out of downtown to the west of Xian to visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It was discovered on March of 1974, buried 1.5 km to the east of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum mound. Awarded as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987, it is known as the eighth wonder of the world and a museum to display terra-cotta warriors and horses in Qin Dynasty. In the afternoon, transfer to the old Muslim quarter, and visit Great Mosque.

Day 6 Xian – Guilin (B, L) by flight
Go to the old City Wall, which is the best-kept ancient city wall in China. You can either take a walk or rent a bike to ride on the wall. Later, transfer to the airport and fly to Guilin. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 7 Guilin –Yangshuo (B, L) by boat
Take a leisurely 4-star Li River cruise, a wonderful 3.5-hour cruise enjoying the stunning landscape along the river and mountains. Lunch on board. Disembark at around 1.30pm at Yangshuo, the beautiful small town famous for its Karst landscape. Upon you arrival in Yangshuo. Drive to the countryside and see the rural area, and pay a visit to a local farmer’s home.

Day 8 Yangshuo – Shanghai (B, L) by flight
Free morning to enjoy the slow-paced life here, after lunch, drive to the airport and fly to Shanghai. Private transfer to the hotel.

Day 9 Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, go to visit Yu Garden and adjacent market. Have a stroll at the Bund to enjoy the great view on both sides of Huangpu River, then at the former French Concession, you will visit Fuxing Park, which was built during the colonial period, now turned into a great place for locals to enjoy their leisure time, After that, walk along a pedestrian street at Xintiandi composed of traditional street format of Shanghai Shikumen and modern development.

Day 10 Shanghai departure (B)
Hotel checkout time at 12 pm. Free time until private transfer to the airport and fly home.
