Day 1: Arrive in Montreal.
Upon arrival in Montreal, head to your hotel to check in. Check-in usually starts at 4:00 PM, so you'll have plenty of time to explore the city. Montreal is a delight, with a vibrant nightlife and plenty of great food options. Spend the afternoon and evening discovering all that the city has to offer. You're sure to have a great time!

Day 2: Old Montreal Walking Tour (East & West)
Come explore old Montreal with us and learn about the rich history that shaped this great city! Our knowledgeable guide will take you through the narrow streets and introduce you to some of the most important historic buildings in the area. You'll get to see the exterior of Notre Dame Basilica, City Hall, and Champ de Mars, among other attractions. Plus, we'll show you some hidden gems that you might not have known about otherwise!

Basilica, Place d'Armes, St-Jacques Street and its banking district, McGill Street, Place d'Youville and Place Royale. The tour ends near Pointe-à-Callière Museum. So come on – get off the beaten path and discover the real Montreal!

Our expert guide will take you on a 3-hours walking tour of the main historical sites of Old Montreal. Walk the charming, cobbled streets and winding alleys of the historic district which reveals all its rich heritage.
Old Montreal East – The walking tour of Old Montreal East is a historic area located in the eastern part of the city. It is home to some of Montreal's most iconic sites, including the Notre-Dame Basilica, Cours le Royer, rue St-Paul, Place Jacques-Cartier, the Town Hall and the Champ de Mars. Old Montreal is also home to the Bonsecours market, which is a great place to find unique souvenirs. Old Montreal is a great place to explore on foot, as all of these sites are within walking distance of each other.
Old Montreal West – On this aprt of the tour, you will get to explore Montreal beyond the usual tourist haunts? Day 3: Day free.
Montreal is a city with something for everyone. In the winter, you can go ice skating on one of the many outdoor rinks, or play in the snow on Mount Royal. If you're looking for something a bit more relaxed, you can visit Notre-Dame Basilica or explore Montreal's neighbourhoods. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can try Ice Fishing in Old Montreal or take a ride down the giant toboggan slide. No matter what your interests are, you're sure to have a great time exploring all that Montreal has to offer.

Day 4: Transfer by VIA Rail from Montreal to Quebec City.
Today checkout from the hotel and proceed to the Montreal train station on your own.
The train ride from Montreal to Quebec City is a scenic journey through some of the most beautiful countryside’s in Canada. The route takes you past rolling hills, through quaint villages, and along the St. Lawrence River. The scenery is so beautiful that it's easy to forget that you're on a train. And with VIA Rail's comfortable seats and attentive service, the journey is always enjoyable. The trip takes about four hours, which gives you plenty of time to relax and take in the scenery. When you arrive in Quebec City, you'll be ready to explore all that this historic city has to offer.

Day 5: Old-Quebec Winter Walking Tour.
The Old-Quebec Winter Walking Tour is the perfect way to see all the top sights of this historic city. Founded in 1608, you'll get to see many of its famous landmarks, including the Fortifications of Québec, Citadelle of Québec, Notre-Dame-des-Victoires Church and more. You'll also get to know the city's vibrant history and UNESCO World Heritage status. This is a great way to see Québec City if you're short on time or just want to explore at your own pace.

Day 6: Transfer from Quebec City to Valcartier. Cocktail Package & Self-Guided Tour Package
Upon checking out of the hotel this morning, you will transfer to Valcartier on your own. Just outside of Quebec City, Valcartier is home to a large winter recreation center boasting a variety of winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and tubing.

After arriving at the Hotel de Galce in Valcartier, you will be welcomed with a Cocktail. This unique Hotel is built entirely out of ice and snow. Every year, over 50 builders and 18 sculptors come together to create this one-of-a-kind hotel, which consists of 500 tons of ice and 30,000 tons of snow. Guests can choose to stay in one of the beautifully sculpted rooms or suites, or explore the stunning Grand Hall, Chapel, and Ice Slide. And no visit to Hotel de Glace is complete without a stop at the Ice Bar, where you can enjoy a delicious cocktail served in an ice glass.

Hotel de Glace is excited to offer you a room at the Hotel Valcartier next door to our main hotel. You can move into your room at the Hotel Valcartier immediately upon check-in from 4 PM and for the entire duration of your stay. In case you feel uncomfortable staying the night at the Hotel de Glace, you can always head back to your room at the Hotel Valcartier. However, you will only have access to your room at Hotel de Glace at 9 PM in the evening. We hope you enjoy your stay with us!

Day 7: Transfer to Quebec City VIA Rail Station and transfer to Montreal Airport (YUL).
Today is the last day of your Eastern Canada Winter package. You will check out from the hotel and transfer to the Quebec City VIA Rail Station on your own. From there, you will take a train to Montreal Airport and catch your flight home.
