This opens up your horizons and helps create an appreciation for nature by getting involved in a variety of activities. Learn more about some of Southeast Asia's exotic but endangered wildlife species while enjoying the natural surroundings.

Day 01: Arrival Sandakan/ MYNature Resort
After Arrival at Sandakan airport transfer to MYNature Resort for overnight stay.

Day 02: Sandakan – Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre/ Sun Bear Conservation Centre – Abai Jungle Lodge

After breakfast, drive for approximately 10 minutes to Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Center. Proceed to the free roaming area feeding platform. 10:00 hrs feeding of Orangutans. At this center, observe man’s closest relative “the Orang Utan” being rehabilitated to become wild in their natural habitat and experience a walk in the Tropical Lowland Dipterocarp Forest of Borneo.

Proceed for a visit of the Bornean Sun Bear Conservation Centre, the centre that managed to improve the living condition of the rescued sun bear and released their natural behaviors in the 2.5ha enclosed forest. 11:15hrs, depart Sepilok Centre transfer to jetty in Sandakan for Schedule boat depart at 1200hrs, take an hour boat cruise up to the Lower Kinabatangan River Sanctuary where you will take your lunch at Abai Jungle Restaurant. This is a wonderful journey of discovery which starts from the waters of Sulu Sea of Sandakan Town through a magnificent scenery of the Mangrove Forest. Check in Abai Jungle Lodge, Late in the afternoon, you'll be experiencing a cruise to search for wildlife until the sunsets while enjoying a cup of coffee and by night falls continue the night cruise to witness the fire flies as Christmas tree. Return to the lodge for dinner. After dinner, again experience the “Jungle at night” at our nature boardwalk to search for birds, snakes, insects and other wildlife with our nature guide.

Day 03: Pitas Oxbow Lake – Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge/ PM Cruise
Wake up by the calls of nature. Early morning take a river trip to the Pitas oxbow lake to observe wildlife and experience the unique of Pitas oxbow lake. After breakfast, you are invited to visit the fishing village Abai.

After lunch, take a boat transfer from Abai Jungle Lodge to Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge Arrive Sukau, check in at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge. Late afternoon, take another river cruise to Menanggul River, a small tributary of the Kinabatangan. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight at Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge.

Day 04: Kinabatangan Riverside Lodge – Lahad Datu/ Danum Valley
After breakfast at the Lodge overland transfer to Lahad Datu for approximate 2.5 hours and from Lahad Datu transfer for 2½ hours drive to Danum Valley / Borneo Rainforest Lodge which is a 40 minutes drive away from the world famous Danum Valley Field Centre. After Arrival at the Lodge a welcome drink and an orientation about the Lodge facilities and services will be given. Lunch will be served at the Main Lodge where the restaurant is located.

After lunch your guide will bring you for a nature trail and to the 27m in height and 107m in length canopy walkway. After spending your time observing the wildlife return to the Lodge for dinner. After dinner a slide show briefing will be given and a weather permitted go for the night drive in search for nocturnal animals will be done. Overnight in the Borneo Rainforest Lodge

Day 05: Borneo Rainforest Lodge/ Danum Valley
Breakfast at the Lodges restaurant. After breakfast your guide will go with you for a walk to an ancient kadazandusun burial site and view point over the Danum Valley. On the way down stop by the natural Jacuzzi for a dip (Bring along your bathing attire). Lunch will be served in the Lodge at afternoon.

After lunch depart for a guided jungle walk to the Riverside trails. Return to the Lodge for dinner. After dinner you will go for a leisurely night walk to feel and hear the sounds of the forest. Overnight in the Borneo Rainforest Lodge.

Day 06: Danum Valley/ Borneo Rainforest Lodge – Lahad Datu – Kota Kinabalu
Early in the morning go for a walk to the Canopy walkway again for more Bird watching opportunities. After which, return to the lodge for breakfast at the lodges restaurant.After breakfast you will have the chance to go for another self-guided nature walk in the vicinity of the Main Lodge.

At afternoon lunch is served at the restaurant. After lunch depart from Danum Valley and transfer to Lahad Datu airport for flight to Kota Kinabalu. (MH3019)
