A luxury fly-in safari through four intimate Botswana camps, twelve nights and both sides of the country. Three stays in the Okavango – Okuti on the Maunachira River in Moremi Game Reserve, Kanana on the Xudum River in the southwest of the Delta, and Shinde in a private concession in the north – mix game drives with mokoro and boat trips where water levels allow. The trip then flies south to Dinaka, a 40,000-hectare private reserve on the northern boundary of the Central Kalahari, where permanent waterholes and a sunken photographic hide put you at ground level with the wildlife.

Why this safari is priced as it is
• Every flight inside Botswana is included – five light-aircraft transfers from Maun, between all four camps and back to Maun, with fuel surcharge and departure tax.
• Fully inclusive – all meals, selected drinks, twice-daily guided activities, laundry, park and concession fees, the Dinaka Conservancy levy and all taxes. There is very little left to pay once you arrive.
• Small camps, low numbers – each camp has only seven or eight tents, and vehicles seat a maximum of six guests with a guaranteed window seat.
• Private concessions – Shinde, Kanana and Dinaka sit outside the national parks, so night drives, guided walks and sleep-outs are possible, and you share sightings with far fewer vehicles.
• Two ecosystems in one trip – the water world of the Okavango Delta and the open plains and waterholes of the Kalahari, linked by air rather than long road transfers.

Days 1–3: Maun – Okuti, Moremi Game Reserve (B/L/D)
Meet your Safari Air flight at Maun and fly into Moremi. Okuti sits on the Maunachira River, and the days here combine morning and afternoon game drives with boat excursions through the channels and lagoons when water levels allow. Elephant, hippo, buffalo and a big list of water birds are the regulars; lion and leopard are resident in the area.

Days 4–6: Kanana, Southwestern Okavango Delta (B/L/D)
A short flight southwest to Kanana on the Xudum River. Game drives work the concession's islands, woodland and floodplains, and mokoro and motorboat trips run when the water allows. Guided walks are offered, and from roughly July to October the seasonal heronry can make this one of the Delta's best birding stops. A sleep-out deck is available for a night under the stars (April to November, at extra cost).

Days 7–9: Shinde, Northern Okavango Delta (B/L/D)
Fly north to Shinde, in a private concession where the Delta's permanent waterways meet dry-land islands. Being outside the national park, Shinde can run night drives and off-road tracking alongside day drives, mokoro and motorboat excursions. Look for sitatunga in the papyrus, leopard, wild dog and the big herds that move through the concession.

Days 10–12: Dinaka, Central Kalahari (B/L/D)
The final flight crosses to the Kalahari. Dinaka's waterholes draw wildlife in from the surrounding bush, and its hides – including an underground bunker at water level – let you watch and photograph without a vehicle between you and the animals. Game drives look for Kalahari lion, cheetah, gemsbok, springbok and brown hyena, with night drives adding nocturnal species. An interpretive walk with !Naro guides shows how people have lived in this landscape. Clear Kalahari skies make stargazing a highlight.

Day 13: Dinaka – Maun (B)
A final morning activity, then fly back to Maun to connect with your onward flight.

• Seasons 2027: Shoulder 1–23 Mar, 3–30 Apr and 1 Nov–16 Dec; High 24 Mar–2 Apr (Easter), 1 May–31 Oct and 17 Dec 2027–6 Jan 2028. Trips spanning two seasons are charged night by night.
• Single supplement: none in Low Season; approx. US$4,970 in Shoulder and US$7,690 in High Season, converted at the time of booking.
• Shorter versions can be tailored at lower cost – for example a 6-night Dinaka and Kanana safari, or an 8-night Dinaka, Shinde and Kanana safari. Ask us for a quote.
• Child rates (6–15 years) are available on request; a private vehicle is required for families with children under 16.

Please note:
• Luggage is strictly limited to 20 kg per person including hand luggage and camera gear, in soft-sided bags (max 40 x 30 x 65 cm). Excess bags can be stored free of charge in Maun.
• Light-aircraft flights may make up to three stops, and times are confirmed the day before. A private charter can be arranged at extra cost.
• Water activities depend on the annual flood and vary by year and camp.
• Minimum age is six years.
• A US$5 per person per night donation to Chobe Impact is included and can be removed on request before confirmation.
• Early booking is strongly recommended for June to October, as each camp has only seven or eight tents.
