This tour offers the opportunity to visit the most classic destinations and combines the indispensable experience of onsen and an overnight stay in a ryokan. Assistant on arrival in English. Guided tours in English both in Tokyo and in Kyoto. In addition, the tour is designed to end on dates that coincide with numerous flights from Japan to destinations such as Polynesia and Thailand, so you can effortlessly combine it with an ocean resort extension for any honeymoon!
Day 1: Tokyo
Arrival at the airport, after passport control and baggage reclaim, transfer to Tokyo, the current capital. *Rooms are available from 15:00. English-speaking assistant available from the airport to the hotel to give information and help with check-in once at the hotel. Airport-hotel transfer by public transport. Telephone assistance in English for the duration of the stay. Assistance on arrival and transfer may be shared with other tour participants.

Day 2: Tokyo
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day dedicated to visiting Tokyo with English-speaking guide.
We will start with a visit to the Shinto shrine Meiji Jingu, to discover Japanese history and culture. We will continue with a walk in the Harajuku district, known for its fashion and unique stores. We will then visit the quaint neighborhood of Asakusa, with its Senso-ji temple, the oldest in the city, and Nakamisedori Avenue, famous for its traditional stores. Finally, we will reach the Shinjuku district, where the tour ends, to
admire a panoramic view from 202 meters high observatory of the Tokyo Metropolitan
Government Building, an elegant building designed by Kenzo Tange. At the end of the tour, return to hotel on your own.

Day 3: Tokyo - Ogoto Onsen
Your luggage will be transported separately to Kyoto by courier. Please remember to pack a hand luggage to spend one night in ryokan in Ogoto Onsen. Breakfast at the hotel. Full day without assistance. Transfer from Tokyo to Ogoto Onsen via Kyoto using the bullet train (2nd class reserved seats) and regional train (with IC card) (approx. 3 hours). We recommend devoting the day to relaxing at the ryokan spa in Ogoto, a town very close to Kyoto and located on the shores of Lake Biwa, the largest lake in Japan, renowned for the beneficial properties of its waters. In order to fully enjoy the experience, we recommend reaching the ryokan no later than 5 p.m. and soaking in the thermal baths three times: before dinner, before going to bed and the following morning. Dinner will be served in traditional Japanese style. Alternatively, it is possible to visit Mount Hiei, where Enryaku-ji, the main temple of the Tendai Buddhist school, stands. A magnifi cent panoramic view can be enjoyed from the monastery complex. Transportation fee to reach these points of interest are not included.

for private use.
Day 4: Ogoto Onsen - Kyoto
Breakfast at the ryokan. Transfer on your own from Ogoto Onsen to Kyoto (approx. 20 minutes) using the rechargeable IC card. A half-day tour of Kyoto with an English-speaking guide. The visit will touch on the Golden Pavilion of Kinkaku-ji, the city's iconic
temple made famous by the novel by the writer Yukio Mishima, and will continue with the Ryoanji Temple, famous for its rock garden whose elements are arranged in such a way that they can never be seen all at once. To follow, a visit to the ancient Gion district, famous for its tea rooms and the maiko, would-be geisha, who can occasionally be seen roaming its alleys. At the end of the tour, return to hotel on your own.

Day 5: Kyoto
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day at leisure. Optional guided tour: Not bookable on
site - Nara & Fushimi. Full day sightseeing tour of Nara in English. Visit Todai-ji, a temple housing the Great Buddha, one of the world's largest bronze statues, and the large Shinto shrine Kasuga Taisha, surrounded by some 10,000 lanterns. Both buildings are located in Nara Park, where numerous deer live in semi-freedom. Return to Kyoto, stopping en route at the Fushimi Inari Taisha to admire its endless red portals. Meals not included. Return to the hotel.

Day 6: Kyoto
Luggage will be transported separately to Tokyo by courier. Please remember to pack a hand luggage to spend one night. Breakfast at the hotel. Full day free at leisure in Kyoto. A visit to the Kiyomizu-dera Buddhist temple and the Sanjusangen-do, a building housing 1001 wooden statues of the Bodhisattva Kannon, is recommended. Alternatively, you can visit places using the rechargeable IC card, not far from Kyoto such as Uji, famous for green tea and the UNESCO Byodo-in heritage temple.

Day 7: Kyoto - Tokyo
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day without assistance. Transfer from Kyoto to Tokyo using the Shinkansen (2nd class reserved seats) (approx. 2 hours 30 minutes).

Rooms are available until 11 a.m. Breakfast at the hotel. Own transfer to the airport without assistant by train or limousine bus (extra fee). Departure from Narita / Haneda Airport.
