Day 02: Delhi
Morning: Enjoy a combined sightseeing tour of New and Old Delhi. Visit the 12th-century Qutab Minar, gracefully hand-carved along its entire height of 234 feet, and the iron pillar, which has withstood the ravages of time, remaining rust-free for over 1,500 years. Explore the mausoleum of Emperor Humayun, a forerunner of Mughal architecture, and the imposing modern Lakshminarayan Temple. Drive past India Gate, a war memorial dedicated to the lives of Indian soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice. View the President’s Residence, formerly the Viceroy’s Palace, as well as Parliament House and the Secretariat buildings, an interesting blend of Victorian and 20th-century architecture.

Afternoon: Continue sightseeing in Old Delhi, beginning with a visit to Raj Ghat, the memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. Drive past Chandni Chowk, once an imperial avenue of Mughal royalty, now the busiest commercial area of the city. Take a walk through Chandni Chowk to savor the ambience of an oriental bazaar.

Overnight: Stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra (approx. 210 kms / 4 hrs drive)
In the morning, leave Delhi by road for Agra. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the Agra Fort, located across the River Yamuna. Built in red sandstone, it features magnificent palaces, halls for public and private audiences, and beautiful gardens.

Afterward, visit the Baby Taj, also known as Itimad-ud-Daulah’s Tomb. The tomb is of particular interest as many of its design elements influenced the Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a symbol of the Mughal emperor’s great love story.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4: Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Ranthambhore (approx. 280 kms / 6 hrs drive + visiting time
Today, early in the morning, visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise and experience the awe-inspiring beauty of this eternal symbol of love. Later, proceed towards Ranthambhore with an en-route visit to Fatehpur Sikri, the old deserted town of the Mughal dynasty. Upon arrival in Ranthambhore, check into your hotel. Day 7: Jaipur
In the morning, enjoy an excursion to Amber Fort. Amber is a classic and romantic Rajasthani Fort Palace. The rugged, time-ravaged walls of the fort may not look impressive from the outside, but the interior is a virtual paradise. Miniatures painted on the walls depict hunting and war scenes, as well as festivals. Precious stones and mirrors are embedded into the plaster. Inside the Jag Mandir is the famed Sheesh Mahal—a room with all four walls and the ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period. En route to Amber Fort, enjoy a brief photo stop at Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds.

In the afternoon, take a sightseeing tour of the city, starting with Maharaja’s City Palace, the former royal residence, part of which has been converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the royal family of Jaipur. Built in the style of a fortified campus, the palace covers almost one-seventh of the city's area. One of the major attractions in the museum is the Armoury Museum, which houses an impressive array of weaponry, including pistols, blunderbusses, flintlocks, swords, rifles, and daggers once used by Jaipur's royal family. Later, visit the Jantar Mantar, the largest stone and marble observatory in the world. Situated near the gate of the City Palace, the observatory features 17 large instruments, many of which are still in working condition. Overnight stay at the hotel.
