Day 1: Arrival in Muscat (No Meals)
Arrival at Muscat International Airport. After immigration, luggage collection & custom formalities. Meeting location – Caffe Nero. Meet and greet by our airport representative and transfer to hotel. Arrival at hotel and check in. Standard check in time 1400 hrs.
Overnight stay in Ramada Encore Muscat
Day 2: Muscat - Wadi Bani Auf –Bilad Sait (Meals: B,L,D)
Breakfast at hotel. 8.30 am Check out&we will set off from Muscat for our action-packed road trip through “Wadi Bani Auf” - one of the largest dry rivers in the Wilayat Al Rustaq valley. The Arabs call such places Wadi, which in turn means the bed of a dry river. "Wadi Bani Auf" occupies a vast area with several villages. We plan to visit them while passing through. We will also drive through a narrow gorge called the Snake Canyon, which is located right in the middle of “Wadi Bani Auf”. The route through “Wadi Bani Auf” is so picturesque that we will be amazed at its beauty every minute. One of the villages we will visit will be Bilad Sait, a fairytale village typical of Arab settlements of the past. It is ranked among the top beautiful villages in Oman. We will have lunch at a local restaurant. And after lunch we will continue our adventures. We will arrive at the hotel late in the evening.

Day 3: Bilad Sait – Misfah – Al Hamra – Jabal Shams (Meals: B,L,D)
0900 Hrs. Breakfast at hotel and drive to Jabal Shams. We first visit Misfah, a pretty village with stone houses, precariously clinging to the side of a huge mountain cliff. Explore the cultural tradition of the Misfah village during this 2.5 hrs. tour. A walk through the village takes you back in time and you'll be glad to witness the culture which is alive and followed in these modern times. Explore the agricultural, irrigation and the water distribution system in the village wherein you'll also encounter the locals who wouldn't mind giving you an interesting insight into their traditional daily works. The guide will provide you with detailed information to make this tour an enriching cultural experience. Continue to the village of Al Hamra, famous for their old multi-storied mud houses surrounded by a vast expanse of lush green date plantations. Visit Bait Al Safah old house, a living history museum where locals demonstrate old Omani traditions in a restored mud-brick house. Later drive to Jabal Shams and check in at the hotel. In the Evening get ready for a short walk to Oman Grand Canyon viewpoint and enjoy the sunset.

Day 4: Jabal Shams – Al Ain - Jabrin – Bahla – Nizwa (Meals: B)
Breakfast at hotel. 08.30 am Check out from hotel and drive to Nizwa. Drive to Al Ayn and visit the protohistoric archaeological complex of al-Ayn, represents one of the most complete and well-preserved ensembles of settlements and necropolises from the 3rd millennium BCE worldwide. A visit to Jabrin Fort enables the visitor to recapture the atmosphere of medieval Oman. The 17th century fort is one of Oman’s finest castles and has some exquisite hand-painted ceilings. (The Jabrin Fort has two floors of steps to climb in order to view all the rooms and the terrace). Islamic inscriptions combine with secret hiding. We will then visit the recently restored Bahla Fort which has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO. Later drive to Nizwa and check in at the hotel. Evening walking tour of Nizwa old quarter (Around Fort & Souq) with our guide. Enjoy Omani café and traditional street food “Mishkak” (Marinated meat and skewering them, the meat is then grilled to perfection).

Day 5: Nizwa - Jabal Akhdar – Nizwa (Meals: B)
Breakfast at hotel. We visit Nizwa Souq. The impressive New Souq complex has been sensitively designed using Omani fort architecture and elegant Islamic arches. This is still the best place to buy traditional silver “Khanjars” (hand- carved Omani daggers) and Bedouin jewelry. Later we will visit Nizwa Fort, the 17th century round tower fort nearby is Oman’s most impressive tower. We continue to Jabal Akhdar (2000 meters above sea level) the green jewel of the Al Hajjar mountain ranges, a truly unique spot in the Arabian Peninsula. Walk through the villages of Saiq, & Al Ain. The villages overlook a spectacular landscape of dramatic peaks, gorges, and wadis. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Nizwa. On the way, we will stop at Birkat al-Mauz, where we will stroll through the oasis and date plantations before heading to our next destination. We will also find ruins of cities, a large banana plantation and picturesque surroundings.

Day 6: Nizwa - Sinaw – Wahiba Sands (Meals: B,D)
Breakfast at Hotel. 09.00 Check out and Drive to Wahiba Sands. Start your trip with a visit to Sinaw Souq. It features different areas for women and men, which are designated by a sign, but the action often spills out on to the streets, with sellers who missed out on a prime spot under the covered area opting to set up shop and display their wares along the pavement. Desert Safai over golden sand dunes and visit of a Bedouin family.There are over 2000 nomad families of varying tribal origins who live here amongst the woodland on the fringes of the sands. Enjoy Sunset on nearby sand dunes. After sunset drive back to the cam.

Day 7: Wahiba Sands - Wadi Bani Khalid Muscat (Meals: B)
Breakfast at camp. 09.00 Hrs. Check out and drive to Muscat. In the morning, after breakfast, depart from our campsite for a day trip to Wadi Bani Khalid - a beautiful oasis in the middle of barren sand mountains. We will stop here for a short walk and a swim in the beautiful turquoise natural pools. Later drive to Muscat Via Iba highway. Arrive in Muscat at around 1400 hrs. and check in. Enjoy time in pool.

Day 8: Half Day Muscat City Tour (Meals: B)
Breakfast at hotel. Stop for a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, dedicated to Sultan Qaboos, modern and elegant, has become one of the symbols of the city, built from 1995 to 2001, famous for the beautiful Persian carpet and the incredible chandelier with 1122 bulbs, 8 tons of weight, the largest in the world. Bait Al Zubair Ethnological Museum whose visit will allow not only to observe a precious collection of Swords (Al Saif), Daggers (Kanjar), various weapons and ceramics, also of understand Omani customs and traditions. Then stop at the Alam Palace, the official palace of the Sultan (external), & the two Portuguese forts (outside), Mirani and Jalali and the Souq of Muttrah. Return to hotel.

Day 09: Departure Transfer (Meals: B)
Breakfast at hotel. Check out from hotel & transfer to Muscat International Airport for your flight. Standard checkout time 1200 noon.
