The country has a long history of nomadic tribes, and this heritage is reflected in the traditional music, art, and food. Visitors can explore ancient ruins and archaeological sites, including the famous Silk Road trading route that once connected Europe and Asia.

Kazakhstan's cities are also worth exploring. Astana, the capital, is a modern metropolis with striking architecture, including the futuristic Bayterek Tower.
