Historical, cultural, scenic! Our Mozambique day tour is a three-in-one experience. It was here that Vasco da Gama landed in 1498 on his way to India, and Maputo, the capital city, is redolent with the Portuguese history of the region. We tour this fascinating City, cruise along the Marginal – the famous palm-lined avenue along the beachfront – and our guide will point out all the highlights of historical, cultural and scenic beauty. This city hums with activity, and you’ll see and feel the hustle and bustle of a city which never sleeps.
Your experience highlights:
• Maputo city tour
• Famous railway station designed by Sir Herbert Baker (Paul Kruger attended the opening in 1896)
• Fort built out of red coral
• Iron House designed by Mr. Eifel (The only other Iron House in the world is in Peru)
• Large Roman Catholic Church
• Famous Maputo fish market
• Driving on the Marginal

• Note: Passport required and visa conditions may apply
• We will arrive on the beach at Macaneta Island at about 09:30 where you will spend the morning swimming or relaxing on the beach. After lunch (restaurant on the beach) we will drive through Maputo city on your way home. The guide will point out certain landmarks while driving.
