Embark on a 9-day journey through Oman, exploring its rich Islamic architecture, vibrant bazaars, historic villages, forts, and stunning landscapes. Day 1: Arrival Transfer
Pass through the immigration and customs. Our Chauffer will meet you outside the Airport (Landside) and escort to the vehicle parked outside. (Standard check in time 1400 Hrs.)

Day 2: Explore Muscat City (4hrs.)
Breakfast at hotel / 0900 Hrs check out. Stop for a visit to the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, modern and elegant, has become one of the symbols of the city, built from 1995 to 2001, famous for the beautiful Persian carpet and the incredible chandelier with 1122 bulbs, 8 tons of weight, the largest in the world. Continue to Bait Al Zubair Ethnological Museum where precious collection of Swords (Al Saif), Daggers (Kanjar), various weapons, ceramics and Omani customs and traditions are at display. Then stop at the Alam Palace, the official residence of the Sultan (external), & the two Portuguese forts (outside), Mirani and Jalali and the Souq of Muttrah. Return to hotel.

Day 3: Muscat - Wadi Shab - Raz Al Jinz
Breakfast at hotel / 0900 Hrs check out. Turning southeast this morning, your journey takes you towards the turtle nesting grounds of Raz Al Jinz, passing by the Bimmah Sinkhole and the popular setting of Finn Beach. A stop amongst the beautiful landscapes of Wadi Shab provides a chance for a walk through one of Oman's most spectacular wadis, before continuing past the historic old port town of Sur. Arriving in Raz Al Jinz later this afternoon, there will be time to freshen up before heading out this evening to search for green turtles. Assemble in lobby for a guided turtle watching tour. Overnight stay in Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve (B-D) Carapace Room.
Day 4: Ras Al Jinz - Wahiba Sands
Breakfast at hotel /0900 Hrs: Check out. Following the coast back towards Sur this morning there will be an opportunity to take in this pretty port town and wander through the old dhow shipyards, before turning inland towards the picturesque setting of WadiBani Khaled, easily one of Oman's most beautiful wadis. After a chance for a walk and a swim, the journey then continues into the desert, towards the rolling dunes and shifting sands of Wahiba where, after a bit of dune safari, you will settle down for a peaceful night under the desert sky. Sunset on close by dunes.

Day 5: Wahiba Sands – Ibra - Jabal Akhdar
Breakfast at hotel / 0900 Hrs: Check out. The adventure turns west today, towards the Hajar Mountains and the limestone slopes of Jabal Akhdar (the Green Mountain). Stopping off at the town of Ibra enroute, you will have a chance to visit the local market, before spending the rest of the journey soaking up the rich natural and cultural diversity of village life. A fascinating insight into local Omani culture, the morning is filled with wonderful scenery, captivating villages, ancient labyrinthine water systems and orchards of walnuts, pomegranates and damask roses. Free afternoon. Enjoy time at pool and go for an evening walk.

Day 6: Jebel Akhdar - Nizwa - Jebel Shams
Breakfast at hotel / 0900 Hrs: Check out. The first stop of the day will be in the historic old city of Nizwa, home to an imposing 17th century fort and a bustling Nizwa souq. You will also visit the impressive fort at Jabrin, possibly the finest of Oman's 17th century fortresses, whose exquisite painted wooden ceilings provide an eloquent testimony to the skills of the fort's original builders. Following a brief photo stop to take in the UNESCO World Heritage setting of Bahla Fort, you will then head into the spectacular mountain landscapes of Jebel Shams. Have a short walk at the Oman’s Grand Canyon.

Day 7: Jebel Shams – Misfah
Breakfast at hotel / 0900 Hrs: Check out. At over 3,000 meters, Jebel Shams (The Mountain of the Sun) is one of the highest points on the eastern Arabian Peninsula. Often called the 'Grand Canyon' of Oman, these mountains stretch in a 700-kilometre arc that is filled with hidden valleys and fertile oases. This morning you will take a walk along the rim of the canyon, enjoying the views out across Wadi Ghul, before driving down to the stunning hillside town of Misfah and continuing on to the atmospheric old village of Al Hamra. Return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 8: Jebel Shams – Wadi Bani Auf – Muscat
Breakfast at hotel / 0900 Hrs: Check out. The drive back to Muscat today takes you through WadiBaniAwf and BiladSayt, an idyllic mountain village with a wealth of picturesque terraces. Enjoying one of the most scenic road trips in the country, the drive then takes you by way of the beautifully restored fort at Nakhal. The views from the roof are particularly impressive, whilst Nakhal's famous springs provide a wonderfully sheltered spot to take in the lush plantations and mountain peaks before continuing the journey back to the capital. Day 9: Departure Transfer
Breakfast at Hotel. Check out from hotel (Standard Check out time 1200 Hrs.) Transfer to Muscat International Airport to board your flight back home.
