Itinerary - Donsol/Ticao To Malapascua

Donsol Eco Diving in Philippines is probably one of the few places in the world that can offer an almost assured whale shark sightings during the season. In the months of November through June whale sharks converge in the Donsol bay and stay for 6 to 7 months feeding on the rich nutrients coming out of the mouth of the Donsol river.

Unlike other countries that offer whale shark interactions, we don’t need an advanced party of helicopters to go out and look for the sharks as they are always just limited to a very small area of feeding and grazing extremely close to the Donsol shore. That being said it is definitely one of the best whale shark experiences in the world!

The Big 3 places with the Big 3 fish— Whaleshark of Donsol, Manta rays of Ticao and Thresher shark of Malapascua with enough $me to relax and enjoy the beaches of this beautiful archipelago.
Enjoy the beautiful Philippines and come to Malapascua island to do some world class diving or just relax on the white sandy bounty beach. Since a local fisherman discovered the thresher sharks in the waters around Malapascua more than 20 years ago the island has become a world-renowned dive destination.

Day 1: Arrive in Legazpi Airport
• Transfers from Legazpi to Donsol
• Whale Shark Interaction
• Lunch at Miraya Restaurant
• Transfers from Donsol to Ticao Island
• Dinner at Ticao Island Resort
• Accommodations at Ticao Island Cabana

Note: Pick-up point on Day 1 will be at the Legazpi Airport at 0910H (please be on the Cebu Pacific flight arriving in Legazpi at 0910H or earlier)

Day 2-4: Diving in Ticao Island
• 8 dives Total around Ticao Island (4 days x 2 dives per day)
• Full Board Meals at Ticao Island Resort
• Accommodations at Ticao Island Cabana

Day 5: Depart Ticao Island to Malapascua
• Depart Ticao Island to Malapascua at 0600H
• All meals arrangement on the safari boat
• Whale Shark Interaction
• Drop off at Malapascua at 1600H
• Accommodation in Malapascua Island (Blue Coral or Slams Beach Resort)

Day 6 & 8: Diving in Malapascua Island
• Breakfast in Malapascua
• Total of 6 dives (diving schedule available at the dive center; choice of 4 dives a day)
• Accommodations in Malapascua Island (Blue Coral or Slams Beach Resort)

Day 9: Depart Malapascua Island to Cebu
• Breakfast in Malapascua
• Transfers from Malapascua to Cebu
• Accommodation at Hotel Bellavista (Cebu)

Day 10: Depart Cebu to Manila
End of tour.

Note: Departure from Malapascua will be at 0900H (ETA Cebu at 1200H; please schedule a flight departing Cebu at 1400H or later)
